Deposit: the half that goes ahead on a Schiphol booking

A deposit is the first half of the fee, not a separate charge and not a security that sits aside. It is worked out on the figure printed in the profile of the therapist you chose, named in writing in the booking thread once the hour is agreed, and settled before she leaves. The second half, the balance, is paid at the door on arrival.

Half goes ahead on seven kinds of booking: anything arranged more than twenty-four hours ahead, an overnight, two therapists at once, a room at Schiphol or an airport hotel, a peak date, three hours or more, and a client's first booking. For regular visitors to the business district, the fourth of those is the one that matters. Every booking at Schiphol-Oost, Schiphol-Rijk or the airport carries a deposit, on the first visit and the hundredth, because each one is arranged individually with the journey time agreed first.

Put simply, a ninety minute booking sends half of its fee ahead, a two hour booking half of its own, and an overnight half of the eight hour block, so the share never moves even though the sums differ. The deposit goes by card first, or by Revolut, Wise or cryptocurrency. Cash cannot be used for it. The one booking without a deposit belongs to the city: a returning guest's same-day hour or two at a central address.
