Massage at Schiphol for crews on a rest period between rotations

Twenty-one and over

What this page covers

Crews see more of airport hotels than anyone and less of the cities around them. For those whose rotation brings them back to Schiphol regularly, the rest period tends to fall at the same kind of odd hour each time, and this page is about using it well.

A rest period is not an evening

Crew time runs on its own clock. A rest period at Schiphol might begin at six in the morning, or at two in the afternoon, and the body going into it may be convinced it is a completely different hour. Sleep is the priority, but sleep does not always come on command, and a room at an airport hotel with blackout curtains and sealed windows can feel like a place where time has stopped. That is the context in which crew members write here. What they want is usually simple: an hour or ninety minutes that helps the body accept it is time to rest, at an hour that makes sense for their schedule rather than for anyone else's. Every hour of the day is an ordinary hour to book.

Massage at Schiphol at the hour your roster gives you

Give the start time in Amsterdam time, not in the time zone your body is keeping, and certainly not in the time zone of your home base. That single habit prevents almost every scheduling mistake. Bookings at the airport hotels are arranged by agreement, with the journey time agreed in the thread before anything is fixed, so it is worth writing as soon as you know when your rest period begins. The rate does not change with the hour. Three in the afternoon, three in the morning and seven at night all cost the same, and the lengths with their fees are laid out on the profile of whichever woman you ask for. There is no surcharge for an odd hour, because odd hours are what this site expects.

Which format helps a body out of sync

For crew members trying to sleep at the wrong hour, the answer is usually slow, warm and simple. Sensual massage at sixty or ninety minutes needs nothing from the room beyond a bed and warm air, and it tends to leave the body close to sleep. Tantra suits the opposite problem, the rest period where you are wide awake and restless, because it works with the wakefulness rather than against it. Nuru and soapy are better kept for a longer layover, with time for the shower. Regulars on a crew rotation usually find their format within a couple of trips and then book it every time.

Crews who travel together

Crew members sometimes share a rest period with a colleague or a partner who flies the same pattern. Two crew sharing one therapist pay twice the single-guest hour; with a therapist each, the hour costs four times that. Two guests in one room both need to be twenty-one or over, and either may be asked to show a photo document at the door. Say in the very first message that there are two of you and whether you want one therapist or two, because the arrangement and the figure both change. Every therapist decides for herself whether to accept a booking, and each names her own limits before the session begins, so a two-therapist booking is agreed with each of them separately.

The deposit on an airport booking

Every booking at Schiphol and at the airport hotels is confirmed by half of the fee in advance. That applies to crews exactly as it does to everyone else, including those who have booked many times before. The deposit goes by card, Revolut, Wise or cryptocurrency once the hour is agreed; neither PayPal nor bank transfer is accepted, and cash cannot serve as a deposit. The remaining half is paid on arrival. A balance in another major currency can be settled in cash, with the exact sum in that currency confirmed in writing before she sets out, which suits crews arriving with whatever notes the last layover left them.

When the rotation changes

Rosters change more than anyone would like. If yours does, cancel as early as you can: more than twenty-four hours ahead, the whole deposit comes back. Inside the final twenty-four hours, before she sets out, half is kept and half returns. Once she is on her way, the deposit is kept, unless another booking takes the hour, in which case it is repaid. One move to a new date within fourteen days is free when asked for more than twenty-four hours ahead. For crews, the practical approach is to write once the roster is published and the hotel is known, not before. The terms have the full rule if you need it.

What nobody asks you

A booking does not need to know which airline you fly for, where you are based or what route brought you in. Messages are about an address, an hour, a length and a name or a description of the evening. Nobody will ask for a staff number, a passport number or a photograph of a document. If a hotel asks visitors to be met in the lobby, say so and she will do that; otherwise she comes up to the room like any visitor. Everything about the arrangement is designed to be as unremarkable as possible, which suits people whose working lives are spent in highly visible uniforms in very public buildings.

Your next rotation through Schiphol

If you already have a name from a previous trip, put it in the first line with the hotel and the hour. If not, look at the therapists, where every profile lists languages, the district she sets out from and the formats she offers. Every therapist is twenty-one or over. She decides whether to accept each booking and names her limits in her own words when she arrives; those limits stand for the whole visit. After the first booking, the thread holds everything the next one needs, and a crew member coming back next month can book in a sentence.

Write, and the thread does the rest

Send the week

Give the building, the hour in Amsterdam time and how long you want, and a name, a figure and a journey time come back in the same thread. A second trip needs far less typing than a first.
